Podcasts You Should Be Listening To - Dramas

I love radio-drama style podcasts.  Here are the ones I listen to and recommend:

Limetown

Limetown is a small manicured community in Tennessee populated with hand-picked scientists and their families working on something big. Then one day they all vanish. Ten years later an intrepid reporter seeks to uncover the truth. A++++

Our Fair City

This podcast tells "true remembrances" of the inhabitants of a post-apocalyptic city in & below the Heart Life building, home to the Heart Life Corporation and its citizens ("policies"). Great acting, great writing, a fun blend of humor and adventure. A+

The Black Tapes

Imagine a radio version of the X-Files, but concerning demonology. A+

Tanis

This podcast concerns the search for the mythical place/entity known as Tanis, its history, and its strange effect on those who discover it. Produced by Pacific Northwest Stories, the same group that makes The Black Tapes. A+

The Message

A strange alien signal has been discovered by the US government. After years of being under-wraps, it is finally released to a cryptography group to attempt to decode it. A linguistics podcaster manages to talk her way into the office so we can listen along in this sci-fi miniseries. A

Rabbits

Produced by some of the same people who make Tanis & The Black Tapes, Rabbits is a sci-fi podcast about an ARG (Augmented Reality Game) and the people who play it. The 2nd season is currently on hold due to a fall-through in funding. B

Hello From The Magic Tavern

Arnie has fallen through a dimensional rift behind a Chicago Burger King into the magical land of Foon! Fortunately he has his podcasting equipment with him and is getting a faint wifi signal through the rift. Join him and his boon companions: Chunt the Talking Badger and the Wizard Usidore as they interview a weekly guest and discuss the happenings in this strange land.

This comedy podcast is semi-improvised, and quality can vary from episode to episode depending on your taste in humor and the quality of the guest. C+ to B+
